Francis Crick Institute

CRICK_Logotype_black_RGBThe Francis Crick Institute is a consortium of six of the UK’s most successful scientific and academic organizations: the Medical Research Council, Cancer Research UK, the Wellcome Trust, UCL, Imperial College London and King’s College London. The Institute encourages ground-breaking research across a range of scientific disciplines and helps make sure that laboratory discoveries are turned into treatments as quickly as possible. Prof. Dr. Erik Sahai leads the Cell Biology of the tumour microenvironment research group, with an outstanding expertise on a wide range of techniques from computational modelling of cell migration, over conventional cell and molecular biology, to intravital imaging of mouse tumours and live analysis of patient derived material. This expertise will be essential for MULTIMOT in WP6, especially for the generation and collection of patient-derived cells aimed at the development of personalized medicine applications.
